Since 1953, Cooperative Oleificio Guardea has been a cornerstone of local history. Thanks to continuous improvements in production processes and technological innovations, we have obtained, over time, certifications of guarantee and quality. That is why today we can offer our members extra virgin olive oil and organic olive oil with high-quality standards.
The olives used are exclusively local and their cultivation respects all the principles of the organic philosophy, one of them being the total absence of fertilizers, pesticides and chemical products
From our organic, DOP-certified olive groves on the hills of Guardea comes a DOP Umbria olive oil of exceptional quality. Thanks to the favorable climate and the care we devote to our trees, we produce an extra virgin olive oil rich in aromas, with a bold character, featuring typical herbaceous fruitiness and harmonious bitter and spicy flavors.
Over the years, the cooperative has expanded its services. The commitment and experience gained in organic farming have led us to become a certified organic farm. We take care of the olive trees and the landscape by recovering abandoned olive groves through pruning and other services that respect the land and protect the landscape.
