“Erimo pochi!” (“We were a few!”) This is how the story of our olive mill begins, and in this phrase are contained all the sacrifices and courage of the first members who gave life to the Cooperative’s project. Today, we are a well-established reality and a guarantee for the entire community. We produce high-quality Extra Virgin and Organic Olive Oil, guaranteed at every step, from the care of the olive groves to the bottling of the final product.

The History of Our Olive Mill
1953
The Beginnings
The rates for milling were unilaterally set by private mills, who exploited the hard work of farmers by giving them a minimum amount of oil compared to the olives delivered. This unjust and reckless treatment sparked a sense of revenge in all the small producers who joined forces to create a unique project for the time.
1955
The First Milling
Finally, after a couple years of work, the first real olive oil campaign of the Oleificio was launched. The initial investment was significant for some, so the enthusiasm was equal to the fear that something might go wrong.
1956
The First Challenges
The work of the Cooperative had just begun when the first difficulties appeared. The winter of 1956, with the historic snowfall, crippled many activities in our area. Unfortunately, the olive trees were severely damaged by the frost, and that year the production was zero. Many members decided to withdraw their shares because of this.
1963
The Fairy Tale
The milling process after the crisis marked a turning point. Finally, the first real satisfactions arrived. The famous “point” of oil reached unprecedented numbers, and even though the harvest continued until the first days of December, the oil was of excellent quality.
1970/1990
Innovation of Machinery and Expansion of Premises
Over time, what was a small mill serving the community gradually grew, beginning to interest neighboring towns and areas. Thanks to technological innovations and the historical collaboration with the Pieralisi Group, we transitioned from milling with presses to a continuous system (no. 81 Pieralisi), the first in the entire area. In the early 1990s, an expansion of the premises and further renewal of machinery were necessary to ensure even more efficient production.
2000/2010
Bottling
Following a decree that imposed a ban on selling large quantities of bulk oil, we decided to take another major step forward: transitioning from transporting oil in drums to packaging it in cans and bottles.
Today
Focus on the Future
The work we do today makes us proud because it is the result of everything our predecessors have done and will be the legacy we leave to our grandchildren. In an era where the future is uncertain, we know we can rely on a small reality like ours, which still believes in genuineness and in being proud of its territory.
