Positive Impacts of Agroecological Transition.
Maria Grazia Mammuccini, President of FederBio, pointed out that the data highlight the strength of the agroecological transition, which is benefiting from the impetus of the Green Deal and the EU’s Action Plan for Organic Agriculture. These tools are key to ensuring an agricultural model that respects sustainability and the enhancement of territories, contributing to greater soil fertility, the preservation of biodiversity and the response to the climate crisis.

Future of Organic
Although the market is growing, FederBio reiterates the importance of continuing to raise consumer awareness of the health and environmental benefits of organic food. In addition, for a sustainable and lasting transition, it is crucial to promote investment in research and innovation so that organic becomes the reference model for the entire European agrifood system. This trend of organic growth, especially in Italy, shows how sustainable agriculture is becoming a driving force for European agriculture and economy, meeting environmental needs and consumer expectations.
